The Go-To Waypoint feature draws a straight line showing the distance and cardinal direction (North, South, NE, etc.) from your current location to a selected Waypoint that updates in real time.
Use this feature to navigate through thick brush or other cover to a specific location.
For navigating on roads and trails, use the Route Builder or Driving Directions features.
To use the Go-to-Waypoint feature:
- Tap any Waypoint on your map.
- Swipe left on the bottom row of buttons.
- Tap Go-to-Waypoint
You'll see a white line and an indicator showing the distance and direction from your current location to the Waypoint.
Tap the X inside the box in the upper left corner to exit this mode.
To make navigating easier, tap the Location button twice to turn the map in the direction you're facing–line up the blue site cone with the white line, and follow it to the Waypoint.
